i have cakewalk guitar tracks, can you record a track while listening to another track play?

It depends on your sound card, if it's full duplex or not. The software is capable of it.

...wow, I'm actually replying to a technical question... I guess I'm actually learning something form this rockin' BBS
anyways..... I'm no expert... but you should be able to as long as you have a "full duplex soundcard" - if you only have a "half duplex" soundard I'm pretty sure you can't listen to you tracks while recording.
Anyone elaborate or correct me if I'm wrong,
