That's what I paid for the 5's not long ago from Guitar Center.

I've been lookin' for a low-end set of near-fields for a while now.. I didn't really want to pay $500+ for monitors, and I was actually considering paying a little under $300 for the 5B's... so getting the 8B's for 300 is a steal!!..
