Ok...what is the best way to configure the following

96/52
Nuendo 8io
2 sets of reference monitors(4 speakers)
8 channel mic preamp
PC
guitar
bass
synth piano
cubase sx

After going lightpipe from the 8io to the 96/52 how do I connect the rest?

Newbie Assumptions:
use OUTS on the 8io to feed the reference monitors? - can you combine outputs(for example outs 1 and 2 go to monitor set 1, outs 3 and 4 go to monitor set 2, etc and then use the BUSES inside cubase to route the singals)?

for the guitars, synths go from the respective amp outs to 8io inputs?

go lightpipe from the 8 channel xlr mic preamp into the 8io?

so far so good...??? What am I missing?

oh one more thing

given the setup I just mentioned above

I will be using it for the following

1. recording myself playing a vst instrument and vocals at the same time

2. recording a guitar, bass, 4 vocalists and a vst instrument player at the same time
