Hey...
I don't know which one should I choose, so some help here is needed ;)
I pretend to record mainly (don't know if I should use "only") vocals, for hip hop singing, so no big need of a good mic for guitars, drums and other instruments.
Thanks

hmmm I don't need advices to where to buy the mic, where i need help is choosing the mic.
Thanks anyway ;)

Mic choice? C1 or B2 or NT1A

Hirokumata:
Male Voice or Female voice?
The C1 will be rather sibilant and crisp.
The NT1A will be less of that.
Maybe a better all rounder of the 2 above is the RODE.
Cant discuss the Behringer mic.

Try them out?

Do you have the capacity to try any of these out?

no I can't try... where I live I don't have any music gear store :S

the rode will give you a better sound for hiphop, Big Kenny was giving you a link to someone selling one on this board...we do that, we look after each other. The C1 is a great mic but not first choice for your style. Avoid the Behringer at all costs, they make pre entry level mics that you'll grow out of before you do your warm up routine.

hmm okay... i'll go for the rode mic... thanks for the advice ;) now i just need for the xmas to arrive to get the money ^^

Ill give the C1 the edge for an all arround mic...voices however need to be evaluated differntly than instruments...amps...etc.

I feel i may go with the Behringer B-2 pro. There is a huge bias towards ANYTHING Behringer on this forum and also from those with lots of rep power. I've been researching like crazy and so far I've oncovered from DPSworld forum and this one that the B-2 is whole other animal. Its apparently the exception from Behringer, its been built very well and isn't similar to any other of the mics they've made. I've heard two accounts of it being similar to a U87 when A/B'd. Yes I know this is hearsay but when you start hearing alot you've got to atleast open your ear to it. My 2 cents. I'm gonna check on getting one, i was gonna get a B1 yet I feel this Behringer may have good versatility and response.

argh... im confused now... don't know if i'll pick the b-2 or the rode mic... when is about functions, b-2 has more (can select omnidirectional, cardoid and figure 8), but the fame that they have... behringer has a bad reputation here and rode is good talked :S
