It's the name that makes it sound sooooo prooofessional like ;) The name Stellar just doesn't sound as good as Telefunken and therin leis the secret of the pro sounding microphone.

Well, I'd rather have a pair of Sonodore RCM-402's than a pair of earthworks QTC-50's...but that's just me.
 
There are a few decent mics for that $200 range. The AT3035, AKG Perception 200, Sterling Audio ST55 (a GT55), CAD M179, and Rode NT1 are all mics I've looked at recently. I bought The AT 3035 $150, a GT55 $200, and the Carvin CTM100 $225 recently. They are all decent mics for the price.
