Studio Project C-1 Mic/PMI Audio

There was a review on Digitall Pro Sound of the Studio Projects C-1 mic from PMI Audio- manufacture by the 797 Audio. The review seemed to be quite positive. I picked one up for $220 a couple of weeks ago, it sounds pretty good to me, but I am fairly new to recording and am no mic expert. Has anyone else tried one of these mics? I am afraid to make any comparisons, but I couldn't tell much difference from a AT 4047, but I have only tried it with vocals. Anyone else?

I'll just say it's a worthy "budget" mic contender to seriously consider in your narrowed-down options. Personally, I'd grab it before a C3000 or NT-1, but that's just me. By the way, all the PMI Audio Studio Projects mics are made by 797 Audio, but moded by some other company contracted-out by PMI Audio. Alan Hyatt (owner of PMI Audio) told me this himself.
