Get many people in?No flyer, but here is my my space page, http://www.myspace.com/onthefarmstudio
This is the only advertising I do other than word of mouth.
That link doesn't work anymore, and it's too late to edit. My flyer can be viewed here.Lets see your studio flyers.

Well done. Hopefully i'll be the same!I only started recording for others in Jan. 08, and I am suprised at how much interest there has been so far. To date I've done 4 bands where we have done rough tracks and then gone back and done keeper tracks over those. These average about 35 hours. I've done about 8 bands where once they hear the rough tracks, they don't think they need to invest anymore time or money and think that these tracks are great and they can't wait to post them on their myspace pages. These average around 5 hours. I really thought I would get mostly singer/song writer types, but that hasn't happened very often. These bands are all mostly kids and I have to say they have been fairly respectful towards me and I have enjoyed their enthusiasm.

Yeah it's finished(well it'll never be finished, but ready to begin recording). I've got the Tascam FW-1804. I'm using its 4 mic pres, and 4 mic pres from my phonic mixer(for just now). For monitors I've got Alesis M1 mk2s, and hifi speakers for reference. I can't afford to upgrade from Cubase LE, but will as soon as i can. I've got some shitty pics on myspace.Your studio up and running pandamonk? Got finished pics already? What did you end up using for your setup?

The control room is acoustically treated as recommended in the builing forum, 2 2'x2' panels in the vocal booth, and I have gobos in the live room and drum booth.
For mics i have:
SP B1
Naiant MSH2s
Naiant X-Qs
t.bone sc300s
t.bone bd300
t.bone mb75s
t.bone mb85betas
I will expand/upgrade everything when i can afford to(good quality pres, 8pres with adat, more mics, better monitors, better pc, better software, and so on), but for now that's my humble little studio at the bottom of my garden.
Thanks. I infact have business cards and logos. I need a website, but i'll get that later(no money).cool.. i wish I could afford to get my studio up and running (with more reliable gear and what not)
but for now i'm focused on getting my design business up and running for now.. i'll incorporate the studio into it later.
that being said pandamok.. do you need a website, logo or business cards? if so pm me.
check out our site www.heelodesign.com
right now we're in start up phase so we're willing to work for fairly cheap.. but this is only for the first 10 sites or so to build up our portfolio.
Ahh, this isn't the control surface version. I haven't really had much/any trouble with it.Thats a very similar setup that Im looking at. Let me know how you like the Tascam, both as far as preamps and control functions go. I heard theyre a lot of trouble, which has kept me away from them so far. However they seem to be the cheapest alternative for someone who wants control surface AND interface all in one.
Will look at pics now.
