studio design

hello

Im about to try and build a studio inside my house,I live in a bungalow which has an up stairs conversion,the room is 16ftx12x7"6 high

Dont know where to start ,I read all the advice on sound proofing and all that,but I thought I would ask for as much as I can get.

I have only one shot at this,can someone please give me some ideas of design,angles and characteristics ETC...............

Hey Lee,

Two pieces of advice.

1. Buy F. Alton Everest's "Master Handbook of Acoustics" it has a ton of information about acoustics and soundproofing and tells you how to do all of the things without buying expensive products.

2. Spend some time at John Sayer's site http://www.saecollege.de/reference_material/index.html

Studeo design

Hi Lee

got no advice for you, just wanted to say high as I'm from Northants too. Good to see you.

I'm also thinking of getting a studeo together, however i've not got nearly enough room, about 7ft x 7ft, good job I don't wanna record drums.
