Finally finished my studio and made the first recordings. Here is a mixed track of a friend(The Colourful Contender - David Muir). Tell me what you think (constructive criticism welcome).

Sounds really good to me. Guitar is right where it needs to be and the vocals sit nicely.

I thought it was nice - I wanted to hear the vocals a little louder, because I couldn't quite understand the words, but thought I would be able to if they were a little louder.
The progress bar on my browser malfunctioned (finished a little while before the song did), so I couldn't tell when it was going to be over. Because of all the arrangement I've heard with extended acoustic intros, I was thinking this song was an intro (I was waiting for drums and electric guitar/bass to start up at the end), but it was kind of refreshing when I realized that I had heard the whole song.

Yeah a nice short acoustic song. Go to http://www.myspace.com/bombshed to hear that song and two others, of my band from 5-7 years ago(when i we were just kids, 13-16), re-recorded a couple of days ago and mixed today. I think there will be more to complain about with them. As always, constructive criticism(of the recording quality, not the songs themselves, 'cause i know they're pretty shit) is welcomed.

I think it sounds really nice and pleasant. The constant octave doubling in the vocals was a little annoying to me. Seems as though it could have been just used sparingly on a few lines for greater effect, but to each his own.

The vocals and harmonies are unintelligible and kind of annoying. Maybe bring the main vocals up some and drop the harmonies so they're more subtle.

What song? All? I know what you mean.
I need to replace the heads on my drums and get a better placement and coulda got a better sound on the guitars.
In the acoustic tune, i think recording went well, just wish the guitarist had put new strings on the guitar.
On the mixing side of things, I'm quite happy with levels, although there is certainly room for improvement, eg vocals. I also need to experiment a bit more with effects, but i don't have loads to play with(using cubase le). Need to EQ the bass guitar a bit, not much low end. Coulda used better reverbs aswell.
Come-on guys, criticize a bit more. I know there's loads wrong. It's my first recording session with this setup.
