where can I get a good selection of cable online?
I don't want to pay too much, I have a very basic studio I don't want to put monster cable everywhere.
I need rca cable, adaptors, midi cable, very short 1/4 cable ect...

Hosa is pretty reasonable stuff - Bang-for-the-buck. Musician's Friend, Sam Ash, Zzounds...

Don't expect it to be "heavy duty" though...

I found everything I need at sweetwater but after I put everything in my shopping cart they said they wont take online orders from canada :(

I will try the other onlime music store. I hope they ship here!

Hosa is a decent choice for adapters and midi cables, but I would really avoid them for the bulk of your cable needs. At least, avoid their cables that use molded ends.

Try http://www.markertek.com/ as well. I buy most of my cabling from them and fullcompass.com.

El cheapo stuff

I've found inexpensive stuff from http://www.hosfelt.com/ and other vendors like this to be great. You can order scads of stuff and still only spend $50. Cable is cable. Wire is wire. Basically, you either make a good connection or you don't. Sometimes light duty stuff won't last (who cares, toss it).
