Just in case anyone else wants to consider streaming audio from their console, decks, whatever, to the internet, here is an easy way of doing this, and its fairly inexpensive too, assuming you have bandwidth.
Install NT4.0, Win2K or XP of some flavor onto a Pentium 3 or higher computer.
Go to www.icecast.org and download the windows version of icecast, and its free. Configure.
Go to http://www.spacialaudio.com/downloads/index.html and download the 14 day trial of "Sam2" or "Sam3". When the trial is done, its about $200, not too bad.
Install both, reboot, and start importing your mp3 collection, as well as attach the "line in" jack to your console. I chose s/pdif because I can get a nice long run that way using a pair of s/pdif to aes converters I have, running the aes haul over cat 5.
Invite friends to listen using winamp, xmms, etc.
Sam Broadcaster has the ability to feed mp3s, automatically be a DJ, etc, or stream from the microphone or the line in to the icecast program, which is what your friends attach their winamp too over the internet.
I did a simple broadcast, with a few friends listening to what I was mixing last night, mistakes and all. Was kinda fun actually...
Anyway, took about an hour to install the software and another hour to get it to work together, not too bad.
