You'll get a lot of suggestions from real cheap to ridiculously expensive...I'll just through my "middle of the road" comments in:
Tama mic stands are very durable and have really nice clamps. Once you set them up they don't move, and they feel sturdy. They are in the $60 range.
In that same range are Peavy mic stands....I'm going to warn you against these because you can find them in most music stores and the music store guys will recommend them. They are fairly heavy and have an ok tripod that doesn't tip over...but they start wiggling really easy and you're constantly tightening them up. This is mostly due to the fact that they have extremely crappy clamps on them...you really have to crank them down to get the boom to stay in position. Some of them have telescopic ends too which translated means "never use that crappy feature unless you hate your microphone".
