I walk the line
On to my next problem. Trying to remove a strat pickguard, one last screw has the head completly stripped. Too small to grab with pliers. I've tried wiggling the guard around, prying up with something underneath guard, no luck. This screw ain't budging. As a last resort, I guess I'll have to cut the guard away from it somehow, so that I can get some pliers around it.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, screw exctrators will be the best...but if yuo don't want to make the trip to Home Depot if you ain't got em...even just a plain drill and small bit will work. Drill until the top of the head comes off...remove the guard, then you can grab the rest of the screw with pliers.

Put down a nice thick layer of masking tape around the guard and body...in case the drill slips. :)

Better yet, use a drill press with the guitar body clamped to the base.

I didn't know they made screw extractors that small. I'll try Home Depot, then Lowes.

And I don't have a drill press.

If there is a 'Tool King' in your area, that will get better results. Or luck finding small extractors anyway.
