OK.......I record my drum machine, lock it in time, record a guitar part, lock it and play the 2 back together and the drum machine sounds like it has a flange or chourus or somthing goin on until I mute the guitar and then it sounds OK......don't matter if I record drum R&L on 1&2, or in stereo on track 1.......Huh ????

you know, i have had this same problem before. I think some effects you use on your instruments makes all the tracks sound that way. maybe its a problem in CE itself. Who knows, but I know what your talkin about.

Hmm, good question
Good luck

Are you sure you didn't record the guitar and drums on track 2 ?

If you solo track 2 is it just guitar?

drums on 1, guitar on 2, bass on 3. sounds flangy unless I solo the drums, or any other tracks when soloed sound ok......just when all are on the drum sounds weird...no effects on anything.....

i guarantee its the crappy sound card youre using that doesnt fully support mixing.

The soundcard doesn't do the mixing. The software does.

Usually a flange type of sound means that you are doubling the track somehow. Double check all your busses and aux sends.

Scerw it......uninsalled it and called AMS and ordered a ne Tascam 414 MK II cassette and gonna go back to recording 4 tracks>computer.back to 2 clean tracks.add vocal, lead.back to computer.back to 2 fresh track, add harmonies,ect.........done real good in the past and I won't have to spend another year tryin to record a drum, bass and guitar without goin nuts.
Peter Quistgard can kiss my ass.......
see ya'll in the analog forum, thanks for the help....Hire the handicaped !!!

Well the sound card might respond bad while you try to run the multitrack recorder while recording... thats what i meant.

sounds like he pirated it anyways...

I doubt seriously that it's the soundcard. I think Tex is on the right track. Somewhere your drums are doubled and the second track is giving you the flange. When you solo all the tracks one at a time, do the drums show up anywhere else?
