STP - Meatplow

I'm starting to do a few covers for fun, have some new gear, etc... I've been working on this STP song which is one of my favs. Still needs vox & tamborine but I was curious how this sounds to other ears before I continue (EQ, mix). I think it sounds very close to the original........great for Karaoke (j/k)

hey!!!!! nice work! can't say that i hear anything wrong with the mix, but i was listening thru pc speakers, so who knows for sure:) excellent job on the music end of it....sounds nearly perfect! i have a feeling i'll be trying to sing to that in the near futur........hope nobodys around!
 
This version shows just how endebted they were to House of the Holy era Zep - esp NO Quarter & most def danvcing days (Are Here Again)
Good playing & recording - could use just a little aggrro though.

A few comments:

Kick could use more deep end.
I like the guitars to be a tad louder, maybe put a little 2-3-4k boost on them to make them cut trough.
The rest sounds fine ;)

Keep up the good work !!!
 
I haven't heard the original in awhile but it's sounding good.

vocals added, somewhat of a final mix done. Still needs tambourine and some level automation on the lead vox ...
