Ok, im still a tad unclear..

I am going to record my band this weekend on my new mac with digi001 and pro tools..

What is the best method for recording electric guitar??

1) Plug guitar directly into the digi 001 (use effects in PT)??

2) Plug guitart into my mackie 1202 then from the mixer into the digi 001??

3) Mic the guitar amp??

mic the guitar amp with a shure sm57...tried and true bestest method(well, one of the best), approved in even the pro studios.....

Mike the amp, send that through the mixer into Pro tools.
