still cant record

i had to by pass midi and try to record audio but now it wont record that what am i doing wrong do i not have my ports right and if so what are the right ports im usin sblive what are the right ports to use for sb live and do i have my mackie hooked up right i have i have the line in from computer goin to alt output doi run line out to main out or what im so confused

But what do you mean "it won't record"? You mean there is no sound come in or something? Please give some more information.

no sound going in or coming out what so ever i hit record try to pull up notes and nothing no sound no notes nothing
