Dear Specialists, i own a digital multitrack recorder Korg D 16.
The machine can record tracks 1-8 mono and 9-16 stereo.The limit in
tracks from 9 to 16 is that you can use one effect only for both left
and right.
Apparently above machine is well suited to record synthetizers, as it is
my case.
My synth has 2 exits: A (mono) and A+B (stereo)
The newbie dilemma is the following: how do you practically work in
recordings ??
Which sounds you like to record stereo and which other ones mono ??
What about the drum machine patterns ??
To not leave dust on my brain i imagined the following possibility:
Drum machine : stereo; (what do you advise kick on the left, tom on the
right ??)
Synth sounds: majority of the recorder stereo (exit A+B)
Synth effects: Mono ( some of them right, some other left)
Bass (synth bass) : right.
Pls help and if you really need to tell me i am a poor crazy mad
musician, do so, but help.
