Stereo Mic Attachment

I just got one of these cool little gadgets. Makes stereo micing much easier to set up and keep in place ... I also freed up a mic stand which is very cool.
Just thought I'd share.

I have had one of these for years. It is one of my favorite inventions.

Some one was thinking, when they came up with this idea.

One less mic stand to trip over!!

I forgot to tell you, to take it to the limit of goodness.

Try putting it on a goose neck.

If you don't like it you can allways eat the goose!!

Thanks BK: Been looking high and low for one of those! Best deal is the reproducibilty of the mounting distances.

You can even get similar mic bars but with five holders, so you can have two alternative stereo pairs plus a mono mic - if you're really wanting to go the whole hog!

Those are always very nice to have around. However, you might want to look into some more durable (read expensive) ones when you're stereo mounting your "prized" mics.

I'll eventually buy an SMP-17 from AEA (Audio Engineering Associates) but I keep putting it off since it goes for $245US. http://wesdooley.com/prods/smpprod.html
