stereo imaging/soundcard input

Hi guys,

Quick question: If I were to connect the headphones output from a zoom ps02 (or a discman, same thing) to the input of a CPU soundcard and then record the source to a .wav editor so that I could then cut it onto a CDR - would the sound retain its stereo imaging?

Well, yes as long as you use a cable with stereo miniplugs on each end... and your levels might not be ideal...

Sorry, AC...I was assuming he knew to use stereo cables....he could be a drummer, so we better explain that you have to plug the cables INTO the sound card....
