starter MIDI controller?

can anyone recommend a starter MIDI controller for me? I really don't know much about what I'm doing - basically I just want to be able to add keys to my guitar-bass-drum-vocal arrangement.

any recommendations? price is DEFINATELY an issue - doesn't need to be anything shit hot - I reall just wanna give it a go first off
