Cool rhythmic vibe to the song. The vocals are a bit hidden in the mix and seem be competing for space with the upper guitar part.

Not so sure how to push the vocal out any further in the mix without it sounding seperate. Any tips?

Experiment w/EQ on each part to find a space for each in the EQ spectrum. Then set relative levels and experiment w/reverb to enhance the front/back feel of each part.

The background vocals are a bit distracting for me. They sound a little pitchy to me sometimes, especially the low octave.

Singing the low octave was originally a rescue job when i couldn't get the main vocal to sit right. In the end i liked them although i've let them come through too much in parts. Overall i liked the effect although it could have been tidier, but i'm not into neat edges particualy.
