Staff View problem - notes won't play when selected.

Hi guys!

Great forum! I am a long time observer, first time poster. I am having problems in the Sonar 7 Staff View editing window. I am old school and I like to edit on the staff but the notes will not sound when I select them in the staff view window, but they seem to do this fine in the piano roll view. It is a PITA trying to imagine how the notes sound while moving them around and editing them. I tried searching but could not find any info on the subject. I am just about ready to give up on Sonar and try another program. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Hi again all,

I may have answered my own problem. I have noticed that the notes won't sound in Staff View when using the Select Tool (arrow) but they will when using the Draw Tool (pencil). It does not seem to matter what you use in the Piano roll view. Weird.
