ST audio interface

Anyone any experience with ST audio interfaces?

This one in particular:

I'm looking for a budget interface with lots of ins/outs.

I'm a doofus when it comes to PC recording (in fact I'm a doofus when it comes to recording full stop)

Also interested in opinions on the software that's included.

This article was written by Hilton Travis after persevering with this unit for too long. The noise issue of this card was a real issue. Ended going for a Motu 2408MKII on Ebay which was cheaper and has been more reliable.
There are people out there the will sing it's praises, but for myself it was an ongoing headache.

Thanks realtones, you may have saved me some pretty noisy recordings. I think the delta 1010 is favourite now.

i have a delta 1010 and absolutely LOVE it. i think you'll be pleased with that choice. good quality entry/mid-level gear there.

Thanks for the recommendation wade. What software do you use with it?

Is it correct that certain software works well with certain interfaces? as I said before I know very little about PC recording.
