MT Power works fine. I have installed SSD5 Samples and SSD5 Library. When I open FX, SSD5 Sampler5 shows under VST3i. SSD5 Library is installed in Program Files\Common Files\VST3\SSD5 Library but does not show when I open FX in either VST3 or VST3i.

When I look at Options\Pref I can see SSD5 Library in the file path with the other plugins. When I load SSD5 FX there is 0.0MB under settings.

What am I not doing or doing incorrectly. Frustrated Newbie !!

Many thanks, Brian

I won't be much help, just taking blind shots. I'm assuming you're using Windows. Where is your MT Power DrumKit located? Mine is. . . This PC > OS (C: ) > Program Files > REAPER (x64) > Plugins

Maybe try moving your SSD5 files into the same Folder. They may have gotten misdirected by the wrong path - I dunno.

My SSD5 Library is a Folder in Common Files\VST3\SSD5 Library. SSD5 is a folder
I have 3 files in \VST3\ These are MT.A.dill and MT-A and MT-PowerDrumKit-Content The MT-A and the PowerDrumKit-Content are both preceded by a Microsoft Edge icon.
And, yes, I have Windows 11. Still confused. By the way, thank you for your reply. I will certainly try your suggestion. Brian

I have tried your suggestion and did Rescan in Options\Pref etc. No luck. I believe that the solution is something simple !! Brian

OK. Cool. I'm Windows 10, so that doesn't help either. I have several Folders plugins install themselves in when I download them and half the time they don't show up when called from Reaper's FX window, so I have to hunt them down and move them around to whatever Folder they can be called from. I thought it might be something as simple as that, but it never is, is it ;)

You might want to contact SSDrums and ask if there is anything special that needs to be done with Reaper. I've had no issue with any plugins in Reaper, but have never fiddled with SSD.

And just to eliminate one more thing, open an FX window in Reaper, then click ADD, then click the FX Menu and Scan for new plugins. Works sometimes.

Thanks, everyone. I will keep on trying. I feel sure that I must be doing something wrong. Brian

Most embarrassing !! I made a total newbie mistake. In order to hear sound , it is necessary to actually SELECT sounds !! Now that I have woken up, things are working as they should. Many thanks to everyone who has responded and helped. Brian

Glad you figured it out... I have SSD5 Free installed here and yes, you need to Select the Kit.
