what is this?
A few months ago, I got a pretty decent Squier II strat from my uncle, along with some other stuff, for one of my crappy acoustic/electrics. Until recently, I have not cared too much about anything but playing it, it plays and sounds pretty sweet. All I know about it is that it was bought in the early 80's, and that it has no mention of "made in *". Anyone got any insight on this guitar? Made in mexico? Japan maybe? It's a solid (and quite heavy) guitar...
Oh... forgot to mention... I was going to try and trace it by the serial # (if that's somewhat possible), but I have searched and searched, and there is none on here, unless it's hidden in the neck pocket or the cavity of the guitar... ????
