i have it and is it any good its a 4 track pa system at 80-120 watts plus any advice on using it

It's an entry level 80 watt PA system. Actually the tracks are called channels. You can plug mics into it of course for vocals. I've plugged acoustic guitars with an EQ and Compressor straight into it with ok results, or just micing the acoustic guitar itself sounds nice too. I like to use both at the same time. Electric guitars plugged straight in don't seem to sound very good (too thin), but micing the Guitar amp with a Shure SM-57 makes it sounds warmer and beefier.

i took your advice on micing my amp and i liked it better but man am i having trouble micing my acoustic guitar maybe i have crappy mics i think they're average mics they're shure mics i can't remember the number but they were about 35 bucks each

Maybe you ought to take a look at a soundhole mounted pickup for your guitar.Dean Markely,Seymour Duncan,and Martin are some manufacturers of these.Cheers!

I have a seymore duncan Woody II. If your only concern is amplifying the signal, well...It'll do that. But its pretty much a bottomfeeder when it comes to sounding like an acoustic. A lot of folks here talk about the RL Baggs Para DI or something like that. I've heard a fishman thinline that sounded good too.

Is that one of those PA's that the speakers clip to the board for easy carrying? Seems like one those would come in handy if you're out doing the acoustic/coffeehouse circuit. Otherwise, it may work for a stage monitoring system in a larger rig.
