Hi guys - I thought I'd share this w you: I recently got a "spy catcher" program - Spyhunter. It is very easy to use & runs itself. I now find GT Pro much more stable - there were about 80+ files it cleared out. Prior to that, GT was getting erratic. It cost $30 USD. There are free programs available but i found them either complicated or else they wd give me a list of suspect files but I couldn't tell fr the names which to delete.

You know, most legal programs aren't affected by Spyware-hunters... ;)

I thought I'd just say....

Yup, most audio host application won't be affected by such spyware / popup banner / junk spam stuff. In fact, we shall turn off any background activities (even anti viruses) as possible to gain more power/resource of the PC :) It's good to have anti spyware & add ware cleaning your registry etc on regular base. Still I think it's not affecting that much for Cakewalk... :) But if it does on you, then who knows ?

Hi guys - I finally understood what you meant by "sounds like spam."

No, (although I just learned not to do a "commercial sounding" post any more) - my intention was that I have received so much help fr you guys that I wanted to give something back that I found helpful to me. However most of you are so far ahead of me in this stuff that I realize this is a forum where I will just continue to receive help & have to give back in other areas where I have more expertise. Thanks!

I'm edgy lately. Moskus has me in a ruffle ;). Sorry.

Cheers,

If you keep replying in every thread I post in I can never catch up to your post count!!! Damn!!! It's like a carrot on a stick :D.
