Peavey Max bass head. This thing is a tank from the 80's weighs upwards around 50 pounds, which is why I'm selling it. I may be getting into a gigging band, and this head is too damn heavy. Perfect for the studio though, it's one of the best heads I've ever heard. Looking for $400 or a trade. I could do delivery at Jamfest, need be. Pictures available

Also selling the cab. This thing is huge as well. It's not at my house (storing at a friends), but I believe it's got an 18", 4 10"s, and like, 2 small 8"s buriend in the bottom corner. It's as big as the infamous Ampeg fridge cab, and it's loaded with Black Widows. Sounds amazing, needless to say. $500 or a trade. Pick up only. Pictures available

SP C1 pending.. also to add to the list, a bunch of emachines t1400 stuff, fan, restore cd, a motherboard, etc. etc. $5 + shipping?

i really wonder how that boss acoustic sim sounds...
i remember having a different company acoustic sim when i was a teenager (maybe arion?) and it gave some cool tones to a clean guitar...

maybe if i get a chance ill pop over to GC and check one out before i message you..

or if you've got any samples you can show me...etc.

I've got nothing, but it sounded crisp whenever I did use it live. Your guitar does tend to shine through, so if you're playing a metally guitar, it's not going to come out like if you were playing a strat (which it ends up sounding somewhat like a Martin).

Andy, much I luv you you've honestly got nothing I want or need. You have entirely failed to enflame my G.A.S. Bad for you but good for me! ;) :D

I dont know squat about tubes, but I have a guitar preamp with a groove tubes 12ax7 that is going out. Does one of your tubes replace that? I would not mind trying something that would give me a more rounded , bluesy / tweedy type distortion.
