Is there a possibility to split the voice and the music in a song ?

Thanks !!!

By splitting, I assume you're referring to separate tracks. Yes, as long as you have a soundcard with 2 or more inputs. You can setup each tracks input by selecting the appropriate channel you're recording through...ie. for 2 input card, one track set to left channel, one to right channel. Arm both tracks for recording and voila.

Although this may not be what you're fishing for.

if you're trying to remove vocals from a song then no.
There are vocal removing plugins but they leave either leave behind artifacts or gut out other instruments or both.

Actually I was asking if it was possible to remove vocals !!!!

I didn't understand Ozpeter! I suppose that the Audition 1.5 is another software!!!

Can u explain better?

Thanks for ur help!!!

The only way to remove vocals without thinning the bass frequencies and while retaining a stereo image is to use the Centre Channel Extractor in Adobe Audition 1.5, the latest version of Audition (formerly Cool Edit) - as far as I know.

As for how to do this imperfectly in other ways, there's an FAQ on the Adobe Audition forum FAQ folder which gives you chapter and verse on this oft-repeated subject.
