I recorded a performance on a 2track digital recorder then imported it into Cubase LE4. It shows up as a stereo track which I would like to split into seperate tracks for individual processing. So far the only solution I have found is to copy the stereo track and then pan each track opposite. Is there another way?
Thanks,
Ed

Just for interest's sake, why would you want to split a stereo mix for separate processing?

In any case, if my memory serves me correctly you can either do this in the pool (I THINK by right clicking the file and selecting "split channels"), or export the audio to the pool using the audio export dialog, making sure the "split channels" check box is checked.

If you split it in the pool you'll have to import it back into the project window by dragging and dropping it.

Cheers :)
