Split Tracks

I want to make a CD of my church choir. I'm using a TASCAM 424 MKIII to record the tape. I'm recording a CD trax of the music on track 1, sopranos on track 2, altos and track 3, and tenors/basses on track 4. How do I set the controls on the MKIII when recording/mixing to make sure I have the CD trax (music) and the left and vocals on the right of a stereo recording.

I'm not sure I know what yo mean. What ever you record on track 1 can be put in the left speaker by degrees by turning your pan knob to the left. for track 2 do the same but to the right.Then back left with 3 if you want it left and right on 4 for a right channel
