Any suggestions. I don't own a machine that can handle that big a reel. The best I've come up with is to put the pancake on a record player with the 14" flanges sort of half assed making a reel, and then slowly spin on to another reel until i've spun enough down to put on to a 10.5" reel...

(Nor do I have a 14" reel that will handle a 3 screw hub, I have a instrumentation set of flanges that aresn't the right size....)

I'm assuming you've got some 14" pancakes, but you're trying to spool it onto 10.5" reels?

I have a case of 5000' 1.5 mil tape (about 14" ) pancakes, I'd like to spool onto either 10.5 (x2) or 7" reels...

Turntable should work, most turntables seem to spin in both directions when turned off!!

Gotta be worth a try!
