Hey guys,
I really spent a lot of time on this mix, and I don't think I will ever be completely satisfied by it, but here it goes. Tell me what you think!

Hey man! I really like this song but I guess you knew that. So where'd ya get the idea? Hey,go get me another beer.

I like the song. The vocals are a little buriied in the mix. Nice droning guitar part in there. The instruments sound pretty good but the vox is kinda muddy.......maybe that's why it sounds buried to me.really good tune though.

Great sound/song

I like it. It sounds like the bass is eating the rhythm part a bit. There is a bit that is not clear. I would work on eq'ing the bass and drums together. Maybe a bit less vol on bass.

Nice, inspirational song.

Bass: down 3-5 dB with a bit of cut maybe 3 dB in the 300-550 htz range
Vox: up 2-4 dB

A bit of volume control in the ending passages would help.

Unreal song...me likey.

Not a bad song; reminds me of John Denver  (eh... one of his songs, anyway... similar chord progression)

Ya know... for me... too much reverb here. When you put reverb on everything, it will push everything away... further back in the mix.

Songwise, you sound very contemporary... Matchbox 20, Counting Crows, DMB, whatever.

The recorded sounds are good; maybe dry up the synths (or guitars) a bit (less 'verb)... bring the drums forward a bit. Very nice vocal there.

vocals are too far avay, but the song is great!! mmm... has such a dreamy atmosphere- need more!

How do you manage to drive and write emails at the same time? Do you have a satellite link in your car and a keyboard in your steering wheel? Must be an awesome car ;-)

Cleaned up a little

Ok all, I cleaned the mix up a little, brought the vox out and buried the bass a little more. My monitors aren't extreemly accurate, so it may still be a little off. Hopefully once I get new monitors my mixes will come out better. Let me know what you think!

MUCH better Vox level.. I'm diggin it a lot. I think I'm hearin alot
of fret noise.. maybe that contributed to burying the vox in the first place.. but it kinda "fits" in there now..
I Like it. Nice tune.

ZPphreak, I did notice the fret noise on my accoustic tracks. I think one thing that really brought that out was my sonic maximizer. The mix isn't done yet, I don't think it will ever be done. Once I get some new monitors though, I believe I will settle with something. Thanks for your comments.
