Any body know any good "speed exersices" like hammer on pull offs that crap for getting faster.

There's no such thing. You are either born with it - or you suck.

You don't sound like you were born with it......

Try this...take a hammer in your right hand, smack the fingers on your left hand, if nothing else..it'll make you scream faster!

Alrighty:

1. Get a metronome.

2. Learn some scales.

3. Play them along with the metronome at the quickest speed you can perform the scale cleanly.

4. Speed the metronome up by 2 clicks (about 8 bpm) and play the scale to that. Do the best you can.

5. After sucking at this speed, bring it down a notch (about 4 bpm). You'll note that if you just try to go up 4 bpm from your original speed, it won't be as easy as going past it and then back down.

6. Do this with other scales, scalar patterns, licks, scales w/ hammer-ons and pull-offs, go nuts.

Did you use a ball pein? A sharp claw hammer usually does more damage if used properly. Then pound in about 3 lbs. of rock salt!

My metronome (and tunner) is a fender its blue see through and black on the back it ticks and then on the 4ht beebs. I would set it at a speed were i could play the riff be4 the beep i did get faster today i played for about 3 or 4 hours strait.
