Speakers for mixing

Hi people, i have only just signed up here and this is my first post

I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I am using Reason 3.0 to arrange and mix my tracks (although i have only just started to get into mixing, but i want to learn).
I am going to buy some new speakers, so i was wondering if anyone could tell me if these speakers would be good for mixing:

Also if anyone could offer me some advice on getting started with mixing (ie. Getting bass to sound right with the kick, snappy snare, thumpy kickdrum etc) i would be most grateful.

Those are computer speakers. You need studio monitors. Find a pro audio shop and look for them.

There will be nothing (from this point forward) useful at any best buy, circuit city, or computer store.
