Hello guys, I´m not a guitar player, but I need you to ask a question. What kind of cable should I use to connect a head to a cabinet? A Mesa Dual Rectifier i.e. to it´s Mesa Cabinet...
Should I use a specific cable or regular instrument cables work well? What kind of problems could happen? Any diference in sound quality? I was thinking about that because instruments work with high impedances right? And speakers work with very low impedances...
help me out with this one please!

Don't use an instrument cable. You can buy cables for speaker voltages pre made or make your own with a minimum 16 AWG stranded wire (heavy zip cord works nicely).

Thanks track rat... do you know, what kind of problems can happen if I use speaker cables?

Guitar/instrument cables are internally shielded, speaker cables aren't.Using an instrument cable as a speaker cable could result in overheating and power loss.I've had a jack lead overheat and the jacks expanded and forced themselves out of the jack socket once, very extreme circumstances, but it's best to use proper speaker leads.
