This is really a computer question. I'm trying to send a song from my computer back to my Fostex VF80 through the SPDIF in. I've set the Fostex to Digital in and the cable is plugged in to the right place. I don't think the problem is with the Fostex; I think the problem is that nothing is being sent through the SPDIF out on my computer's soundcard. I recorded the song to the computer via the SPDIF in. I'm playing the song with Windows Media player. I've looked around in Windows Control Panel Sound and Audio section to try to see where to set digital out, but can't find it. Does anybody know how to do that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the Windows Audio control panel, choose the tab "audio". Click the down menu arrow under "Sound Playback". All of your sound cards playback devices will be located there. Choose the spdif one.
