Just a heads up notice about the 25 foot headphone extension cables. Right now, I have 11 pieces left on hand. I cleaned out the distributor's warehouse, and I'll have another 70 cables in sometime next week or so. But, then, that's it for at least a few months, since the next shipment of cables won't be in till late August, I'm told.

I still have a lot of the MoreMe headphones on hand, so that shouldn't be a problem. So far, out of all the headphones shipped so far, we've had exactly two problems that I know of:

1. Headphone band broke (intentional during testing).

2. Left driver went out on one set.

Someone reported a slight buzz, but it may have been a wire against one of the drivers. Never heard anymore about it.

And I still have plenty of mic clips, both the spring clips and the Shure-type mic clips.

Sorry for the spam, but I thought some of you would want to know I'm gonna be out of headphone extension cords for a while until the next shipment comes in.

Hey Harvey - Glad to see ya around. I put a money order in the mail Monday for 4 headphone extension cords. Hope you get it before you run out.

In that case (together with the order for 5 that I just received), I'm down to 2 cables left, till that shipment of 70 arrives.

Whew! I think that was my order for 5 you just got Harvey.... glad I got in before you ran out! Thanks for posting about it!!!

I'm out of the headphone extension cables again, but they shipped today (9/11), so the cables should be here by next week. Sorry about the delay if you got a backorder notice. They'll go out priority mail when they do get here.

On a different note, I'm thinking of adding a "Deluxe" model MoreMe headphone to the line. Same basic design, but with a padded headband, a little more bass extension (claimed), and the extra "mid-range dampening mod" already done inside the earpiece shell. It would bring the price to around $30 each, plus shipping.

Good idea? Bad Idea? Comments?

Hi Harvey,
I noticed that you put the word (claimed) in the post. Have you heard them?

Not yet. I just have one pair and I'm gonna take them apart tonight to see if they use the exact same driver as the standard MoreMe headphones. If they do, then the "extra bass performance" claim is bogus.

Glad to hear from you Harvey.

My MoreMes and ext cables are working just great in my studio.

Right now , Im practicing on recording a local band that I work with.
They ordered a little bit of gear to do some simple tracking and recording, so therefore, I will need some more cables and cans.

Maybe 6 of each. Please post when the ext cables arrive.

thrilled

harvey, i've been thrilled with the cans and cords so far. thanks again for making them available to us.

maybe you could do a side-venture into patch cables sometime, as if you needed something else to do. ;-)

cheers,

My thought on this, is that the headphones aren't really used to make any 'sonic' desicions because they aren't of a quality that makes it possible to do so with them. Unless the new version of the headphones will REALLY be a lot better sounding, I think that these headphones serve their purpose the way they are... of course if it was really a significant improvement, maybe it would be worth it so that musicians doing tracking can hear themselves better... As is, the headphones are pretty muddy....

On an upnote (just to show that I'm not critisizing), I use the MoreMe headphones 6 days a week, and I think their great for what they do... I find myself using my nicer sounding headphones less and less, because they are open design, and not good for tracking, and I wouldn't try to mix on headphones anyways. Thanks Harvey! :)
