The 3035 is a bit flattering, and is probably more of a vocal mic. The B1 is more on the neutral side, and could also be a little more versatile. They're both considered to be very good for the respective prices they go for.
Of the under $200 large condensers, I think these are the two best. The B1 is suited towards mic'ing instruments and amps. The AT3035 is suited towards vocals and amps.
and its been my finding that the At-3035 is alot brighter than the B1. This can be a good thing or bad depending on your application. Either one works pretty well for vocals. If you have the extra cash i would grab the 3035 since it has the pad and low cut filter and most of the time includes the shockmount.
I've been using a 3035 for the past few months, and I'm not terribly impressed with its performance on acoustic guitar. But I'm absolutely in love with it on guitar amps....it provides a really warm, full-bodied sound that I haven't been able to get with a 57.
