Suck 'em and see!
I bought a topaz in the summer 2nd hand and set it up briefly before I took it down again to do some sound proofing/acoustic treatment.
I'm looking for experienced users, just got set up (partialy) today....
The main outs have inserts. If I strap a compressor across here should I hear it on the control room A & B outs? I want to keep the main outs (where the inserts are ) to go to DAT or back into the computer to record the 2 track master of my mixes. How do i monitor what the insert is doing? I must be missing something in the manual because I can SEE the comp working but can't hear the results. I know I'm in stupid mode, just been too quick to get everythijng back in here and wired up again. Please help
