Soundproofing

Hi Yawl
I am about to build a rehersal room in my backyard but i am having trouble finding info on correct soundproofing and acoustic construction. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Are you starting from the ground up, or converting an existing building? BTW, where are you located?

CSR have produced some very good booklets on this subject to support their "Gyprock" products...........any specialised supplier of plaster products should be able to help with these.

Im in Perth
Yes im starting from the ground up for the rehersal/recording room but the control room is a freestanding single brick room which i am going to attatch too. ps that site like wasnt working
