Soundfonts.... SB Live! or Montego II

Hi, I've got an TB Montego II and I was wondering if I should get a SB Live! Value in order to use soundfonts with my midi controller. When I use Audio Compositor, I can access soundfonts. But should I get a SB Live! to use them instead? Will there be any difference?
