Hey everyone, I recently ordered an M8, until then I was using the mixer on my tascam 388 as a front end for my TSR-8. I really don't need 8 busses and I think the direct outs on the M8 will work great for what I need. How do you think the Pre amps and EQ's will compare on the two units. I'm a little concerned that the M8 has high and low shelving compared to the 388's fully parametric highs and lows but overall I'm expecting a nicer eq/pre amp sound and I like that the M8 is so much more compact! The 388 takes up 1/4 of my room! Any one have experience with both of these units be willing to offer your impressions/experiences?
