I put money down on a Trident 80 Series - should get it in the next two weeks. I missed an 8068 before I had my finances together, and was really hoping to find another deal like the one I was offered 3 months ago, but the Trident price kept coming down, and down, till I had to do it!!! If I find the right 8068 deal again, that will be my final console............

But, in the meantime, the Trident should kick some serious ass!

One more thing - the Ghost will also come with a 25 foot Belden 8 CH XLR-TRS cable to take the outputs of your outboard into the patchbay.

I may also have a 16 XLR/4send snake available, and a bunch of XLR-TRS cables available to go with the Ghost. The new board has a built in TT patchbay, so I may need to start all over with the cabling. Dammit, that means I may have 4 DB25-TRS cables available as well...........(all Belden).

ahhh i love the sound of trident's....

last record i did was at vudu studios (www.vudustudios.com) and they have a trident and a pretty sweet room...dialing up drums took about...15 seconds?
