I've used these desk quite a lot when mixing live. one of the mixers that make a fantastic drumsound when the red light is lid. No joking....Whenever I had to set the gain with the kick and snare drum the sound really came kicking in the moment the redlight when on. Eq is somewhat synthetic, and good for popmusic.
I wouldn't want to use this desk for studiorecordings (well it would actually do the job just fine, but you can get better for the money), cause it's designed as a live desk. Everyone I mixed on started to behave a little weird. Something that had to do with the age and abuse of a live midprice desk. So be sure it's not dumped by a PA copany because of that reason.

Price is much to high. I would say for a 24 channel in good condition max 5K.
