Hi there;
I'm in the process of upgrading my home project studio and have found myself with a few things I'd like to sell.
1. Delta 44 sound card (made by M-Audio/Midiman) This card records at true 24-bit and up to 96khz. It has four analog ins and four analog outs, and will work with Mac, Windows 95/98/XP/ME/2000, etc. It is in pristine condition (even has the little nubby rubber thingies on the bottom of the breakout box!), sounds awesome, and comes with the drivers, and Gigasampler,
Unity Piano, and the DS-1 soft-synth. Price - $225. For more info, go to http://www.m-audio.com/products/m-audio/delta44.php . New, this card is currently selling for almost $350.
2. D-Man PCI sound card (also by Midiman). This card has two ins and two outs (analog) on RCA plugs, and has midi connection with a built-in wave table. It records at up to 18-bit and I think up to 48 Khz. (selectable, not fixed at 48khz). It sounds very good, and is in perfect condition. It will work on Windows 95/98. I have the drivers for it. For more info, go to http://www.synthony.com/Products/dmanpci.html .
Price - $100. New, this card sold for about $200.
I'm selling both because I bought a Delta 1010. Obviously, I'm happy enough with the M-Audio/Midiman products to spend the better part of a grand on another one. The Delta 1010 does the work of both cards and then some, so neither card is useful to me any more.
Both of these cards will beat the pants off any Creative Soundblaster/Audigy, or Turtle Beach, etc. card. Why? Although the two "consumer" cards are great for games (the outputs sound great), the INPUTS on those cards aren't of the same quality. The inputs on the Delta/D-Man cards are very good.
ALL PRICES ARE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS!!
If you're interested, send me a private message, or email tondreau@sympatico.ca .
