hi guys whats the best pc based soundcard for 200 bucks or just a little more like 225, im tracking with sonar 2.0 xl and have windows 98 second edition, im looking for more inputs so i can do drums with real drums instead of midi, ive gott a eurorack mixer but i cant put into more than one input on my computer as it stands now because there is only one input and my current card only has 16 bit capabilitys, would love to step up to 24 bit audio.any suggestions would be great and thanks. tim

Is the inca88 a 24 bit soundcard?

I cant find any info on it on the audiotrak website. I know the maya44 is 18bit ADC and 20bit DAC and has its measured sound quality is slightly worse than an Audiophile at 16bit 44.1. Does the inca88 use the same converters as the maya44?

No, the Inca88 isn't 24bits. If I remember it correctly it's 20bits. But definately not 24.

the Delta 1010lt has 8 analog inputs/outputs but they are unbalanced RCA's...if that isnt a problem, it will give you twice the inputs/outputs as the Delta 44 and a few more features (midi i/o. spdif i/o,etc)....$249
