Don't know for $100, but if you have $80 extra dollars then you can get the Audiophile which is awsome for the price!

I bet you can get it much cheaper on ebay...

It all depends what you want to use it for.

Unless you pay a premium, don't expect to get a clean recording signal or low latency with software synths (DXi or VST)
 
the Santa Cruz is an awesome card for the price (ive seen them regularly at Comp USA for $50 on sale)....one of the best sounding consumer type cards out there.....

of course it is a step down from cards such as the Audiophile mentioned, but you will get your monies worth......you can get a decently clean recording with it, with the proper input (mics,preamps,etc).......
 
Are there any good soundcards from the other brands for the same price? in case i don't find the santa cruz.
 
I'm gonna be using it with cubasis vst software. Is it better than Creative soundblaster live?
