I'm in the process of setting up a simple midi system using a pc. Also, I'm gonna use my PC to do some mastering. I am looking for a sound card that has midi connections, lightpipe in/out, adat sync, and spdif in/out. If it had two analog in/out that would be a bonus. The only two cards that I found to fit the bill are the MOTU 828mkII and the Steinberg audio link 96 Digiset.
Has anyone used these cards?
Does anyone know of another card that would be better?
I'm trying to stay under the $500 mark, but if I have to spend more I will.
